Public Building Plazas & Grounds

CEOs for Cities blog this week highlighted Daley Plaza, the public area next to the City of Chicago’s public building, the 31-floor Daley Center. The plaza is programmed with a farmer’s market and other events, and seen here, dancing lunch-goers. The public areas around government buildings are often not used or programmed for the public. The GSA recently released a publication that aims to help building managers with this entitled, Achieving Great Federal Public Spaces.
