The cap over Fort Washington Way that you mention is a separate project from this. As of right now the Park Board is directing their focus towards raising all the funds for the Central Riverfront Park that will be built in phases complimentary to the $1 billion mixed use project called The Banks.

If local leaders are able to secure funding for the capping of the highway and the development of a park there, then it will proceed. But until that point the cap will have to wait until the Central Riverfront Park is complete. That is my understanding at least.

Thanks, Randy. Looks like there will be some great features, like the bike center. Have there been funds identified to cap the freeway yet?
